Abstracto | Overview

Propuesta de cinco carteles de gran formato para el Consejo Ciudadano de Bienestar Animal del Municipio de Puebla, Comisión de Educación, realizada en el verano de 2015 como un proyecto voluntario y electo entre otros por un jurado para su implementación.

Los carteles tenían como objetivo el dar a conocer las libertades de los animales a los transeúntes y conductores de la Ciudad de Puebla, México. Con las ideas del cliente como una guía, se aterrizó la comunicación de la campaña de tal forma que se presentara a la libertad tanto como una cualidad de ser, como de no tener que padecer ningún mal, haciendo uso del lenguaje para generar esta ambivalencia de cualidades.

Proposed five large format posters for the Citizen Council of Animal Welfare of the Municipality of Puebla, Commission of Education, completed in the summer of 2015 as a volunteer project and elected among others by a jury for its implementation.

The posters had the objective of publicising the freedoms of animals to passers-by and drivers of the City of Puebla, Mexico. Parting from the client's ideas as a guide, the communication of the campaign was landed in such a way that it presented freedom as a quality of being, as well as not having to suffer any harm, using language to generate this ambivalence of qualities.

Proceso | Process

Por la naturaleza del proyecto, fue indispensable hallar imágenes de stock y fuentes gratuitas; por lo que se debió hacer un montaje fotográfico de buena calidad que no delatara al personaje animal como ajeno a su escenario. Así mismo, los arreglos tipográficos debieron ser atractivos y apegados a dos fuentes para generar así unidad e identidad gráfica entre los anuncios.

Los colores son una des-agrupación de aquellos en la identidad del Gobierno del Estado de Puebla haciendo juego con el croma institucional del Consejo Ciudadano de Bienestar Animal, en 2015.

Due to the nature of this project, it was essential to find stock images and free fonts as the main sources; thus, it was necessary to make a photographic montage of good quality that did not reveal the animal character as foreign to its scenario. Likewise, typographical arrangements needed to be attractive and done using only two fonts to generate unity and graphic identity among the ads.

The colors are an ungrouping of those found in the identity of the Government of the State of Puebla, matching the institutional palette of the Citizen Council of Animal Welfare in 2015.

Veredicto | Verdict

El proyecto fue seleccionado como estrategia e imagen de la campaña, pero, desafortunadamente, por cambios administrativos no pudo verse implementado. Sin embargo, se hizo entrega de un reconocimiento y carta personalizada que agradece y condecora a esta entrega como aquella elegida por el comité.

The project was elected as the strategy and image for this campaign; but, unfortunately, by the time it was completed there were administrative changes and it was not implemented. However, an official recognition and personalised letter were extended as a way to thank and give credit to this proposal as the one most voted by the committee.
