VANGUARD is a personal project in editorial design and the presentation of political knowledge. The Spring 2016 issue was the first iteration of this zine. It is familiar, yet treats the type enough to keep the reader engaged. Photographs of mine, taken in NYC during the People's Climate March, are used to supplement the text in a meaningful but not entirely nefarious way. 

This work marks the beginning of the conceptual link that brought me to my BFA exhibition a year later.
