A web site remake
The European Regional Economic Forum (EREF) is an annual two-day event that gathers professionals and scholars to discuss and propose policies for enhanced regional co-operation. The event is preceded by several workshops, each addressing a particular issue to be discussed during the forum.
We were tasked with remaking the website and restructuring the existing content. We had to create a web site that will serve the needs of the organizing partners, as well as those interested in attending the forum or the workshops.
There was a lot of work ahead of us - this is a screenshot of the home page before we took matters in our own hands and created a total make-over
We created a completely new standards-based design
We added a list of all sponsors, partners & organizers of the event at the bottom of the page
We created a script to rotate several slides in the header of the website. The idea of the slide show is to attract the visitor's attention to forthcoming events, important messages, as well as show prominent guests of previous EREF-organized events.
We created an elegant banner to promote registration for the forum. Once dismissed, the banner would not appear to the visitor anymore.
