This personal project was a means for me to exercise a new technique in using the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. I wanted to convey Michael Jordan as I saw him as a child, something pretty amazing and supernatural as a sportsman.

Step 1:  I established the line work and wanted the lines to kind of peel off of Jordan almost like he's defying gravity and logic itself.

Step 2: I wanted to establish the layers of colour, skin tone etc but use my own custom shapes to determine the muscle structure and shape.

Step 3: I had a lot of fun, fleshing out the picture and wanted to add in some more shapes and tones to accentuate the movement.
