this moscow theatre visual identity is designed as a part of an exam project for macro typography and module grid course in british higher school of art and design

the aim was to develop an identity pack which has to contain posters, tickets (hardcopy and e-tickets) and at least 4 pieces of merchandise for any existing theatre.

i chose praktika theatre for its decent and modern style which seems pleasant to work with. even though i like its current visual approach i decided to create my on taking “the original one” as a reference and adding my own vision.

first of all i elaborated a logo adding colour because it seems more friendly to the younger audience (pls see above)

as for posters i created a 4-column grid which is an obligate structure for each poster in the series. the columns are to be merged or divided depending on a type of content on a poster
other musts:
-lower case
-light-blue emphasised dates
-dates are to be partly overlapped by the event info/other details
hardcopy tickets are created considering the usage technology: one pre-printed master copy with empty fields for variables such as name of show, date, time, price etc

e-ticket contains theatre rules and also has the same 4-column structure (2 merged) as posters

to make a merchandise range wider i created some elements by decomposing a logo:
-short version of logo created with the logo elements (part of a K and A letters)
-pattern made of a short version of the logo
thank you!
