Personal Branding Project
So, in the above mood board, this is how I plan to recreate my current website.  I want to use the chalkboard texture, burlap texture, white wooden fence texture and florals. For the color palette, I am thinking of copper, peach, mint green, robins egg blue, a jade, and an off-white. Over this past year, I have finally found what my illustration style looks like and what it portrays. When I am in Columbus for college, I have nostalgia of my little farmtown hometown and my illustrations show that.
The above mood board is what I am thinking typography and symbol wise.  I like the hand lettered script fonts mixed with sans serif fonts.  I also really like the type writer style font mixed with a sans serif.  I asked my friends what symbol they thought of when they think of me and they said chicken. I like the floral elements and would like to include those since I use florals so much in my work.
So I bought this textbook thinking it was great and it's terrible because I can't get good scans of my work.  I apologize for the bad quality but these are my thumbnails and thought process for my logo design and different layout ideas for business cards.
This is one of the logos I have created that I think I might stick with.  I am thinking of trying some floral elements later this week in black and white.  These are also some of the fonts I plan on using. I feel they work nicely together and I have plenty of serif and sans serif.
Here is another page where I included textures that I want to use as backgrounds for my website.  I plan to use the white wooden palette background for my front page.  I plan to use the chalkboard for my about me page and my contact info page.  I'm not sure if I'll actually end up using the burlap texture or not but it's there if I want to.  This is the color palette I definitely want to go with and some fonts I have explored.
This is my current resume.  There are still some things I plan to update with this. I plan on creating different florals to use so that they match the patterns I create on my business cars.  I still need to update the portfolio section and work with spacing a little more.
More logo exploration
So in the above images, I have decided on a color palette, came up with some finalized logo stuff, created business cards, and chosen fonts.
