Brutalist desk organizer collection

Brutalist Architecture Inspired Partner and Executive gifts
Partner and executive gifts get handed over each day in large numbers around the World, yet this type of objects are rarely personal, useful or representative.
These gifts are often forgotten and thrown away by the receiver. They tend to be boring, useless or just simply nonrelevant, as if these objects were forgotten by designers and innovators.
Anita Boldog, the founder of AB Concrete Design approached the Moholy-Nagy Foundation and won a grant for her ideas on representative gift, targeted  to construction companies.
During her professional work she was commissioned by the target group to design concrete gifts to their partners and clients.
The Moholy-Nagy  grant is a one year long grant that helps designers to develop their skills, discover and experiment without a  risk and supervised by their colleagues.
Every year it is a huge honor to earn the grant as very few can get it. The applicants pitch and present their ideas to the jury in two rounds.

Anita decided to apply this year with the concept of a business partner gift collection made from concrete, targeting the leaders in the construction industry.
She relied on her previous experiences with business leaders and used her creativity to design and produce the Archicon collection.
Archicon is an elegant, yet playful office desk set that organizes all the necessities on the desk in a playful, innovative manner.
The architecture-like objects can be branded and they are long lasting. The whole purpose of partner gifts are to represent the company of the giver and do so for an extended time period.
These pieces are certainly will be conversation starters and liked by their owners while they are showcased on their desks.
The collection was inspired by the now extremly popular architectural style, brutalism. The small items look like tiny, spectacular futurist buildings or sci-fi city skylines.
Part of the collections:
Archicon moss holders:
Sold with preserved moss that is natural and does not require any caring or watering. The moss sits on top of the objects and look like small urban gardens on top of surrealist buildings.

Archicon Business Card or Phone Holder
Practical and spectacular holders for business cards and phone. Stylish organizers for any desk.

Archicon Organizer with Akrylic Frame
Similarly to the card and phone holder this item organizes and displays pens, cards or phones with the help of an acrylic frame.
Concrete Design USB Drive
Inspired by the brutalist buildings for example Paulo Monti’s this small USB drive is a stylish way to store data.
