WKMA is a tribute to Kurt Weill interpreted by Nick Cave and PJ Harvey. Kurt Weill lyrics, written between 20’s and 40’s, talk about violence, war and disgraces that brought to the present still make sense. The show pretends to make people think from irony. During the show, form and content are contradicted. While Nick and PJ sings a song about war or violence there are dancers with brilliant dresses on a white and gold set. This show pretends the viewers to ask themselves: “what keeps mankind alive?”

This is the creative book design of What Keeps Mankind Alive Music Show which contains texts and images explaining the development and visual universe of the show.
