El Festival Nacional de Bateristas y Percusionistas de Nicaragua fue fundado en 2011 con su primera edición celebrada en la Alianza Francesa de Managua por los destacados músicos percusionistas Yandi Fragela, Ernesto Matute y Fabio Buitrago. Este es el evento percutivo más importante del país y hasta la fecha cuenta con 6 ediciones. Este festival es la fiesta de la percusión nicaragüense y ha aglutinado y presentado a las y los mejores percusionistas del país. The National Drummer and Percussionist Festival of Nicaragua was founded in 2011 with his first edition that was celebrated in the French Aliance of Managua by the featured musicians and percussionists Yandi Fragela, Ernesto Matute y Fabio Buitrago. This is the most important percussive event of the country and until today it has 6 editions. This festival is the party of the nicaraguan percussion and has brought together and presented the best percussionists in the country.
