I was approached by Glasgow band Yakuri Cable to do the artwork for the album cover of their first EP. They had been considering a comic-book style, and also artwork that was inspired by the Japanese funicular car that gives them their name. Below is the finished cover, followed by the process and a polished version of the runner up design.
