Beedrones is a business project in the area of model aircraft based in Castelo Branco. Created in February 2011 and located in central Portugal, a place where industry and nature live side by side, Beedrones proposes to the market a range of services of components sales, training and consulting all in the area of model aircraft. Always basing its action in an entrepreneurial spirit and in the constant search for improvements in all of its products, the "core business" of the company is the production and sale of structures for models of aircraft, built entirely in aluminum.

For this branding project, first of all Playme tried to emphasize the technological nature of the company. The choice was a geometric grammar, created by the line and by the blend of straight and curved angles. This geometric structure is carried to all the basic elements of the brand: the symbol and the typography. The use of the line as a constructor element is related to the company's product: aluminum structures for model airplanes. A structural design was explored because the brand product is also structural. Ichnographically, the brand explores the image of the "bee" as identifier of its aeronautical component. In addition to the symbol, Playme developed especially for the Beedrones brand its typography, inspired by the very design of the icon and structured according to its geometric grammar. The grammar shared by these two brand components – symbol and typography – creates a very close graphic link between the two elements. The result is the perception of the brand as a whole, one in all its representations.
