POWER PAL DESIGN PROCESS
Rodney's rival and main antagonist of the short, the hottest new action figure/ video game combo toy POWER PAL. I drew up at least 8-7 rough concepts sketches (not pictured) of various mixes of Buzz Lightyear and Samus Aran, before the team i was working was satisfied with the ideas on Design F (below)
POWER PAL EARLY STAGE
Going forward, we readjusted the design of F shrinking down her should pads, enlarging her arms, also introducing buttons and pad to make her feel more "Video-Game Console Like". Below is the turnaround front view for our 3-D modelers to use as reference, the next two afterwards are an unused concepts for Power Pal's gamepad mode; a helmet that would have gone on her head during game pad mode and a fleshed out render of the gamepad transformation.

POWER PAL'S UI
In a small segment we see Power Pal's POV, for this shot I designed out a UI to overlay on top, taking cues from Metroid Prime for inspiration. 
POWER PAL PROPS DESIGN PROCESS
As a left over from a early idea, it was agreed on by my crew that Power-Pal should have a Energy Axe, below is the early concepts for the Axe, before deciding on fleshing out the first one.

Afterwards I designed out a Megaman-styled Buster for Power Pal to use in some scenes.
Below the axes is one of Buster Turnarounds for the 3-D modeling crew.
