After working with Nelson High School throughout the fall, photographing their football team on their way to becoming Golden Horseshoe Champions, We decided we wanted to make a bigger project that would leave a lasting effect after I leave the school next year. So through multiple conversations with the Athletic Director we decided to choose an athlete from every sport (Boy and Girl) and photograph them to be the 'Face of the Sport'. 21 posters in total (22 athletes). With that I was taken out of class and set a studio up in the gym for a full day of shooting! About a month later of editing they were finished and printed as a sticker onto a sheet of PVC so every 5-10 years we can replace them with current athletes. Overall the project was a major success and I am looking forward to doing more work like this in the future!
