For Burning Man 2016, I wanted to create a couple additional art posters to use in the Brainy Bar space that Eridu Society was building.  For this piece, I wanted something that played on the camp's recurring theme of time travel, as well as the massive sense of anticipation and excitement that many Burning Man participants feel in the days and weeks leading up to the event.  That quickly led me to "it's about time" and the idea of a suitcase (representing the great distances people travel to get there) in an empty desert.

Using a number of assets that I had already created for other projects, I was quickly able to pull something together in Cinema 4D, and then over the course of a couple days of tinkering using low resolution tests I came up with the settings I would use on the full size 160 megapixel render.
