Several 3D technical illustrations, I made for different clients. The most of them are mix of CGI and photo manipulations. Weed control - The infographic was created for Dow AgroSciences (agricultural branch of Dow Chemical Company). It was key visual which was used in brochure for farmers and other marketing materials. My task was to showcase two fields with grazing cows. The first field is overgrown with weeds, while the second one is covered with perfect grass with more cattle on it. Hard thing about it that I received list of required plants and the livestock had to be particular cow breed - Black Angus. So I made fence, soil, grass, roots and plants in 3D, but the cattle was gathered from three stock photos of the same cows. Underfloor heating - The exploded view & cut away illustration was created for Bauhaus Customer Magazine (Bauhaus is a large european retail chain, offering products for home improvement, gardening and workshop). My task was to create an infographic, which would demonstrate heating panels and other layers under floor and which would reflected comfort interior. So I added the most comfortable animal - a cat. The whole scene was created in 3D except the man and the cat. As for the man I changed his shoes to 3D bare feet and changed his shirt to more suitable to the scene. Running surfaces - This is a part of a trail shoes advertising created for The North Face. This illustration shows different ground types and weather conditions, which are piece of cake for the shoes - like mud, rock, rain and dust. This scene was completely made in Photoshop without any 3D. Liner Pond - This cutaway was created for the same Bauhaus Customer Magazine. This time the subject was ‘How to create a nice artificial pond in your garden or summer house’. My main goal was to show different bed levels for different water plants, and details of construction. My second goal was to include lots of real Bauhaus products in the picture, like stone blocks for the small waterfall, boards for the bridge, water pump, filter and so on. So on sketching step I had to go through lots of round of revisions to found right composition. This illustration vice versa was completely made in 3D without photo manipulation. I added the girl in the last moment to show real scale of the elements. Read Less
