"Uroboros" by Stijn Wuyts
The Uroboros is a snake or dragon that bites its own tail, symbol of self-reflection, eternal cycle. The glass I use is recycled from bottles, cut up and reassembled with rubber bands. The tension from the rubber bands is a temporary force that creates the new form and hold the pieces together. The rubber bands wear out; the Uroboros must recreate itself time and time again.
