Mirror rings

These objects have the ability to show a different world. When I first started to collect inspiration I found mirrors the most interesting.  I observed different crystal structures, natural fractals and visuals having great impact on me, catching my eye constantly. This was the feeling I wanted to create with my jewelleries.
The project started in October 2016 with inspirations and lot of models. My jewelleries are made of stainless steel, silver and have a brilliant cut zirconia in the middle. I used point-welding laser to build every triangle-shaped mirror together piece by piece.
My aim was to put an ancient stone setting method to contemporary context. I wanted to overdo the beauty of the stone getting the effect similar to using drugs. The jewellery that came up to my mind was something you can not look away from which is received by moving the body. This can create exciting and precious new images.
