Am I really a conservative?
The topic of my journal-like photo series is a city and its surroundings. I’ve always been secretly fascinated by Bristol. The night I arrived I went on to discover the city and explore the streets. Because of the faces that were looking back at us, my boyfriend whispered the word „trash” into my ears. „Trash”. That was my kewyord. I had been looking for places and people in order to give back that certain mood, the vibe, the encircling atmoshpere. In my photo journal the calm coastal life also plays an important part. In this journal I’ve combined the principles of the effervescence and the tranquility, then asked myself the question: Can I only identify with the coastal landscape? Is the crowd of abstract faces too much for me? Or am I being too conservative?
