How a stone skipping robot saved summer.

At Eleven, we where charged by the Sun Valley marketing coalition to “Seed the experience of Sun Valley, not just the idea of the place. To create online engagement with the brand and potentially with brand loyalists - engagement that will turn into conversion.”

So, we built a telepresence robot that allowed users to skips stones via an interactive experience online, taking the interaction paradigm beyond the computer.

We thought we would get some attention, but we never expected the magnitude of response we got from viewers online. We hit over 250,000 unique views in five days - making the front page of Reddit and every major tech blog on the internet.

I prototyped, created and deployed Skippy along with the amazing team at Eleven and I couldn't be happier with the project.
