This project was a venture in understanding universal accessibility and how to design for disability. The persona considered was a user missing one leg from the knee down, and the task analysis revolved around a trip to the grocery store for a few small items. The final outcome was a multi-tiered crutch attachment with a few internal divisions for organization and a structure to ensure the carrier would easily attach to an existing crutch frame by simply replacing the adjustable handles. The carrier also features a more ergonomic grip that promotes better wrist position.
