Zoo Cycle is a project with an idea of bringing wildlife closer to the children in their early age. Today in urban society people are out of touch with natural world.These Balance bikes are used by children between age 2-6. During that period their imagination and their perspective of the world is growing and expanding rapidly. That beeing said, project Zoo Cycle tries to incorporate these ideas into something that they can relate to, something like a bicycle... Animal shapes , among the rest, are here to remind parents and neighbourhood in urban areas that there is abundance of natural, ecologicaly oriented life around us, so that they start using this simple fact in education of their children. Children, on the other hand, will have their own, unspoiled, reaction to it. Love animals...

Zoo Cycle from the begining was led by an idea that panels in animal shapes should be replaceable. So once you buy it, its only a matter of choice nexttime you go shopping.with your kid. The main platform consisting of metal handlebar, and its construction, wheels, and a seat, stays the same, while the panelsar replaceable, thus reducing the expences of buying new bike for your child over and over again.

The goal of this project was to make as much as sustainable product as possible without harming the initial idea of design. It leans on the acknowledgement of wooden balance bikes, already on the market, but it gets new dimension when this knowledge is combined with the usual construction of bicycles for children. This combination enables the design to step forward and to bring closer the whole concept to the children.
