échange is a second year project aimed as a fun engaging experience to get children excited and on board with learning a new language. The UK has a poor rate of population that speak a second language, so this was aimed at children as to rejuvenate the want to learn a second language at a young age. Current VR technology would be the platform to create this experience, but the game is also available as an app so children can still play without owning a VR device. Research and insight came from speaking to school children and acting upon their feedback to create the visual style and choice of characters for personalisation.
