India's second largest district, Kutch (Kachchh) is a treasure trove of a variety of ecosystems that support many species. The district is larger than the state of Kerala but recieves about 70mm of rain on an average. 

The Indian Courser (Cursorius coromandelicus) adult and chick
The Bengal monitor (Varanus bengalensis) in its environment. 
The Black Francolin (Francolinus francolinus) male.
Indian Jackal (Canis aureus indicus)
The Grey Francolin (Francolinus pondicheriyanus)
The Red-wattled Lapwing (Vanellus indicus) protecting its three chicks under its wings. It was threatened by our car and hence the behavior.
Wire-tailed Swallow (Hirundo smithii) adult on two occasions as it flies out of its nest.
Indian Bush Lark chick. Also called Red-winged Bushlark (Mirafra erythroptera)
Red-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus cafer)
Black Indian Cobra or Spectacled cobra (Naja naja)
Purple Sunbird (Cinnyris asiaticus) . A male of intermedius in eclipse plumage.
Indian star tortoise (Geochelone elegans)
