36 Days of Type 04
I started this project without any idea where it would take me but I knew I wanted to have a daily practice and to play with Illustrator and colour a little. I didn't know what to expect but as I went through the process of creating a letter every day, I started looking around for inspiration in a way that I hadn't in a long time. It was such a good exercise not just to be making something every day (which is in itself a great practice) but also to be searching for shapes and recognizing interesting type in the street and world around me. I've come out of this project with a few new practical skills under my belt and a newfound energy to continue searching beyond the most obvious answer.
