Singapore Rail Corridor

Singapore Rail Corridor
Wayfinding Strategy + Graphics

Wayfinding concept for a 24-kilometre disused rail network extended across the whole of Singapore. The proposal was part of OMA's submission for a competition to win the SRC regeneration project. The strategy considers all possible journeys to, from and within the Rail Corridor. The aspiration is to improve connectivity, accessibility and navigation in daytime and after dark, while raising awareness of the natural and historic heritage. The graphic and formal language were informed by the minimal and cubic nature of OMA's architectural designs.
