OBJECTIVE
Design a sophisticated image for wine using illustration and type

SOLUTION

In creating the cursive hand lettered logo for La Ville (an imaginary wine brand), I wanted the letters to show a lucid connection to wine being poured into a glass. I varied my thick-to-thin line consistency making it weighted toward the bottom. I also chose an illustration medium that would harken back to liquid: watercolor, which allowed me to achieve different levels of depth and transparency.
