Brastemp B.Blend is the world's first personal beverage machine that can brew juices, soda, drinks, and even beer. The innovation showcased isn’t just a machine but a platform that includes water purifier (cool, cold, natural, with carbonation as well as hot) and another 10 beverage categories, produced by using capsules, including soft drinks, juices, teas, coffees and energy drinks. After placing the capsule in the machine and pressing just one button, the process start automatically, preparing each drink at the ideal size and temperature.

As a design lead on the discovery phase of this project, back in 2011, I was part of the team that came up with the concept and the detailed the business opportunity for the idea. Once the concept started gaining attraction within the company, we partnered with Bevys (which produces the capsules) and the project was developed further for mass production.
