We recently had the pleasure of working with psychometric game pioneers Arctic Shores to redesign and develop their company website. This was a new challenge for us, as we hadn’t previously worked with a science-focused brand, let alone a business that utilised cognitive neuroscience and psychometrics. Key features the clients requested for the new site included a clean and modern design, online demo submission, and integration of analytical marketing systems.

The previous Arctic Shores website wasn’t working for them as a business; it didn’t allow interested customers to make contact, it wasn’t responsive across different devices, and the general design was extremely generic – something that they are definitely not. We redesigned the entire site from scratch, taking it back to what the company is about – the products, and the science. We designed animated banners to show gameplay and analytics, infographics to explain benefits of their products and solutions, and illustrated every member of the Arctic Shores team for their “Meet the Team” page to add a personal feel to the site. We developed everything to be fully responsive; we know that up to one third of their visitors are viewing the site on mobile, so it’s essential their experience is just as good as a desktop user. We kept the site design stripped down and modern, using the Arctic Shores recognisable branding and colour palette, and concentrating on accessible navigation and fast loading times.

The site now has a refreshed and simplified look, complete with enhanced content fully optimised for every media device, desktop through mobile. This allows customers to view product details, psychometric information, request demo keys and contact Arctic Shores through the site. The CMS allows the client to observe visitor and customer analytics, so they can feed this information back into offering the service that their customers are looking for. We fully designed and developed the site using WordPress, concentrating on accessibility and responsive design to give an inclusive and interactive user experience.
