Resource Center Overhaul
Rework of the resource center landing page
The Resource Center is an area that our programs team relies heavily on to help clients get the right information when they need it. We don't have a large client services department, so it's always been important for us to enable our clients to self-serve.

Because of this, the old resource center was helpful, but didn't really match the aesthetic of the rest of the areas of the resource center. I was tasked with revamping this area as a side job to my regular product design work.
This is the old version of the resource center. While functionally, it provided the right information, it just seemed overwhelming to our clients. There were lots of areas providing information, but not a very clear pathway for clients to follow.
By streamlining a lot of the text and making this more graphically engaging, we hoped to guide people down a path that was easier for them to understand. I wanted the text to be engaging and more welcoming - a way that invited clients to find what they are looking for instead of forcing them to hunt around. I also understood that by the time someone goes to the resource center, it means they are confused and probably couldn't figure something out on their own, so creating a warmer environment was important. The color palette matches the branding we use not only in our marketing work, but also within the product itself. And, the team had ample area at the bottom to add their own updates and news, giving the programs team a venue to push information out to our clients.
