Bella Carlos | 2021 | Printmaking & Undecided
Gouache and acrylic
The piece represents the liminal space between life and death, where one’s memories and sense of the physical world become obsolete. In the landscape, life ends and transitions from the comfort of one’s old consciousness by beginning again into the next phase of living, whether it be a form of reincarnation, heaven, or whatever one believes in.
