Illicit Making tells the stories of Midland Atelier through work by six jewellers, woven together with an installation by renowned artist Emma Davies.Illicit Making pieces together aspects of the Midland Railway Workshops’ past life as a centre for industrial training, design and making, with Midland Atelier’s future as a creativity and innovation enclave.
