Brief: "I would love to see your original artwork or illustration over photo ideas, playful and serious. Maybe a vintage French movie poster made to look modern. Or something really simple and clean, elegant yet modern. I love vintage French fonts, but not a requirement. Also I want to reflect the 10th Anniversary edition on the cover as well" - Ludo Lefebvre.

I designed the cover thinking in the old cook books everybody have, the books we read carefully. This special edition must recover that feeling of a good old book with a fresh air. I used a vintage color pallet with a handwritten type for that ancient feeling and for the image I used a photo of Chef Lefebvre blended with the background because like the title of the book "feast for the fish senses" a good meal always capture all your senses, like a move quote that says "food is color with fragrance". I tried to keep it simple, with a touch of natural elegance like the dishes Chef Lefebvre cooks.
