This project started out as nothing more than a design practise. I wanted to show the beauty of handwritten text without being distracted by the content of the text. The viewer was supposed to see the handwriting, not what was written in it. My way of accomplishing that goal was to only use a small sample of the text, remove texture and potential colour and turn it into a picture.
Those pictures inspired me further and I started to create different patterns for textiles, small products and wallpapers out of them.
