Scattered means something thrown in random direction. Thus creating expressive lettering for it.
This first illustration show the word ‘scattered’ is being broken from the middle and the particles starts moving randomly.
Second illustration emphasis more on individual letter scattering into pieces. And this scattering gradually increases.
