As the Designer & Illustrator at KidKraft®, I played a significant role in bringing the My Super Groovy Dollhouse to life. As a first step in the design process, I sketched out the initial concept for the surface designs for the dollhouse.

From the vibrant colors to the retro furnishings, every detail on the surface of the dollhouse was carefully crafted to create a truly immersive experience. As part of a collaborative team effort, I was responsible for creating the surface designs for the dollhouse, selecting color schemes for the furniture and fabrics, and designing the packaging. The packaging design includes layout design, logo creation in both English and French, art direction for the photography, and all production work.

To bring this project to market, I utilized a range of skills and programs, including Sketching, Adobe Illustrator, Repeat Patterning, Color theory, Adobe Photoshop, and Packaging Design. I also played a crucial role in the creative direction of the project, which involved deciding the color direction, artwork style, product photography direction, and packaging style.

Towards the end stage of the development, I set up the production files for the My Super Groovy Dollhouse. These files needed to be highly accurate and detailed, as they were sent to Asia for manufacturing. I meticulously created vector-based files in a clean, layered format with color and material callouts, with the help of Rebecca Rawle providing accurate final drawings. This level of attention to detail ensured that the final product met our exact specifications and matched our high-quality standards.
