Brand identity created for the Spanish rock band Coronel Weber.
Coronel Weber, congenital pacifist, was a dedicated antimilitarist during the First World War. The songs by this band are strongly influenced by the indomitable spirit of this hero of desertion.
It is for this reason that it was necessary to create a strongly play-based graphic composition. With three ink planes I give a nod to the illustrations of the 30s. A textured typography (worn-out as if it had been through a battle) is integrated effectively with a clean and simple vectorial illustration.
