The Penguin Junior Design Award 2017 competition was open in three categories, with Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird in adult fiction, Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood in adult non-fiction and Sue Townsend’s The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4 in children’s books. 

I submitted covers for all three books and am now looking forward to the announcement of the shortlisted designers. I hope I will be one of them! It would be fantastic to work further on the covers towards a potential internship at Penguin Randomhouse.
