AU 2017 Senior Showcase Concept


Brink is a senior showcase concept derived from the idea of potential energy —
or being on the brink of something new and exciting.

These photos would be paired with a video of the same subject matter, allowing people to connect the social media aspect of .gifs and videos to the posters in real life. The different frames build up a sense of potential energy, yet they stop before the satisfying release of the energy people like to see.

Brink implies the graduating class is that energy.

Most importantly, we wanted Brink to appear fun and interactive.

These illustrations were made for postcards.

The offset lines mimic the movement of the objects in the videos.
