Description: As part of my rigging and animation classes, I was asked to rig a model and do a walk cycle with that model. Since I like Batman, I chose to rig and animate him. The model is from Batman: Arkham Asylum and was downloaded from creativecrash.com along with the textures.

Rigging and animation was done by me in 3ds Max with guidance from my animation mentor Mr. Anandh Ramesh. After completing the walk cycle, I applied the textures and lit the scene. I also placed a camera to render the scene from the perpective, front and side views.

I rendered the scene from these 3 views and imported it to After Effects where I placed a simple background, some text and did some color correction. I rendered the composition and imported the output to Final Cut Pro.

Finally I added sound effects, the heavy footsteps (it was the best I could find), and matched it the best I could to the speed of the walk and rendered the video.
