The “Tall Poppy” is a rechargeable battery powered cordless table lamp designed for the hospitality and home environment. It features a distinctive slender ribbed metal diecast body providing direct downlight.
The primary design aim was to produce a robust table lamp that could provide optimum table illumination for diners with a minimal footprint. The light source height gives a wide light angle distribution illuminating the table surface evenly and glare free. A flat LED light disc housed in a low profile diffuser top provides warm 2600K white light at 100+ lumens with an industry leading 93+ Colour rendering index (CRI) facilitating superior rendition of food and skin tones.
The aesthetic of the lamp takes its inspiration from bivalve seashell as well as the waterfall.
The flowing ribbed pattern serves both a functional purpose by enhancing grip when bring picked up as well as an aesthetic highlight.
We have addressed the durability and long-term repairability of the lamp by incorporating an electroplated zinc alloy 3 diecast body construction with the use of mechanical fasteners.
