How would people who live in the rainforest communicate with each other before modern technology appeared if there were a piece of design work then?
Inspired by communication ways of animals and plants, especially fireflies, we designed TribeBeat, a system that uses rhythms and beats to warn the tribe of 4 main things: weather, arrival of food, help and danger.
This is a piece of Ethics class works made during the first semester of my visiting programme in UK. I made it with my local teammates and felt the similarities and differences between our design preferences and I was inspired to think more about it. (Oct. 2016)
