Jean Charest, Premier of Quebec, lost power in the Quebec provincial election to the Parti-Quebecois.  The loss was compounded by the fact that Charest's failed to win his Sherbrooke  riding for the first time since 1984.  Is this the end for Charest?  The electoral defeat sustained by the Liberals was not as severe as some had projected leading up to the vote.  Indeed, the Liberals retain a healthy number of seats in the new legislature, and should Charest wish to remain in politics, a 'safe' seat could be found.  The question remains: does he wish to continue the fight?
