Taewoong is a brand that produces lifestyle electronics. We conducted research and design taking into account the various user environments that enjoy the sound of small Bluetooth speakers. Considering the organic use environment with the smartphone that plays the speaker, we designed the product so that various users can enjoy various functions according to their usage methods.

It is a product that not only functions as a Bluetooth speaker but also can enjoy various contents as a wireless charger. When the smartphone is placed on one side, the product is tilted so that the user can use Bluetooth function while wirelessly charging the smartphone, and through this, various contents such as music and videos can be played. It is designed to enjoy the same function when you turn the product upside down by applying an iconic, up-symmetric switch.

Taewoong은 라이프스타일 전자제품을 제작하는 브랜드입니다. 소형 블루투스 스피커의 사운드를 즐기는 다양한 사용자 환경을 고려한 연구와 디자인을 진행하였습니다. 스피커를 재생하는 스마트폰과의 유기적인 사용 환경을 고려하여 다양한 사용자의 사용 방식에 따라 여러 기능을 즐길 수 있도록 제품을 디자인하였습니다.

블루투스 스피커의 기능 뿐만 아니라 무선 충전기를 겸하여 여러가지 컨텐츠를 즐길 수 있는 제품입니다. 스마트폰을 한쪽에 놓으면 제품이 기울여져 사용자가 스마트폰을 무선충전함과 동시에 블루투스 기능을 이용할 수 있으며, 이를 통하여 음악, 동영상 등 여러가지 컨텐츠들을 재생할 수 있습니다. 아이코닉하고, 상하 대칭의 스위치를 적용하여 제품을 뒤집어 놓고 사용할 때에도 동일한 기능을 누릴 수 있도록 디자인하였습니다.

We proposed a concept that provides various functions according to the user’s preference with the natural tilting function of the product. We designed a product that provides various content experiences by creating a natural angle due to weight when placing a smartphone on a speaker.

제품의 자연스러운 틸팅 기능으로 사용자의 취향에 따라 다양한 기능 제공을 하는 컨셉을 제안하였습니다. 스피커에 스마트폰을 올려놓을 때 무게로 인한 자연스러운 각도를 만들어주어 다양한 컨텐츠 경험을 제공하는 제품을 디자인하였습니다

The up-and-down symmetrical switches are designed to allow you to use the same functionality when you turn the product upside down. Considering the function of Bluetooth speakers operated by smartphones, we tried to maintain the formative beauty by installing only essential switches.

상하 대칭의 스위치는 제품을 뒤집어서 사용할 때에도 동일하게 기능을 사용할 수 있도록 디자인하였습니다. 스마트폰으로 조작하는 블루투스 스피커의 기능을 고려하여 필수적인 스위치만 탑재하여 조형적 아름다움을 유지하고자 하였습니다.

It provides advantages that can be used in various environments of the user through various form changes of the product. Each shape change of the product enables users to use functions that suit their taste.

제품의 다양한 형태 변화를 통해서 사용자의 여러 환경에서 사용할 수 있는 장점들을 제공합니다. 제품의 각각의 형태변화는 사용자의 취향에 맞는 기능들을 사용할 수 있도록 합니다.
