Here you can find samples of my motion graphics and animation abilities. Here I applied my knowledge from graphic design and translated it into motion graphics as well as learned a lot of new things such as compression and mood music. The music and source does not belong to me and is used purely in an educational manner. Read Less

Motion Graphics Videos and Video Edits
All of these videos were made using Adobe AfterEffects and Compressed with Adobe Media Encoder (further compressed by Instagram for fast loading). The Footage is captured using the game console or emulator built in capture services. Logos, bars, and motion graphics are made in Illustrator and prepped in Photoshop.
This is my first attempt at making an overlay for my video clips. For the longest time I was using the Xbox One built in Editor but found it to be a bit lacking for what I wanted to do so I learned After Effects. Here you can see my first version of my logo and content box. Also excuse the sound as this was my first video and was unable to include any during my editing.

Here you can see an updated overlay logo and animation. Once I had a few under my belt I was able to fix redundancies and become more efficient with my edits. This is my latest related work.

In this clip I started working with the timing on music and seeing how it enhance the viewing experience of video. Some minor edits were done to the video to keep it from getting to violent. I would call this one a success!

My second clip working with music and minor edits. I also did a racing exclusive animation and logo design. This way it is easy to identify what sort of video it is and gives something interesting to look at. I am particularly proud of the fact I was able to substitute the sound effects with timing on the song. It took research to find a song that not only hit the right notes at the right time but it was just as important the song created mood. Its fast, its exciting, and the video is just popcorn filler to bring it all together.

This is a proof of concept video for my game intro. It is intended to pay homage to where my gaming began and how it lead to my company now. The TV is modeled after an early 2000s CRT that I used to play on a lot as a kid. The channels flip as if the other consoles were plugged in and mine comes on.

Here I wanted to try my hand at more cinematic style video. I worked with the timing, editing of the video, and even controlled my "Actor" to bring it all together. This was a fantastic learning experience and one I hope to share.
Using machinima here to try something new and I believe for the most part it was a success.

A little Background: I stumbled upon this memorial around the same time my grandmother had passed and I created this in her memory.
