TENEMENT HOUSE
POZNAN 28 CZERWCA 1956
Tenement house located in the downtown of Poznan in the historic neighborhood. Housing block includes commercial function on the ground floor and underground garage hall fulfilling all the future residents’ needs. Residential function includes 10 flats with different sizes and room numbers. There is one flat which fulfill the requirements of disabled people. Form of the building was designed to maximize the amount of daylight in interiors. Irregular elevation refers to the context and continues existing composition lines. Dynamic form of tenement house eliminates the difference of neighboring buildings height, which perfectly fits in the urban context.
