Runa is a teen girl who became a Magician's Apprentice. After she lost her little companion Anubi, a sphynx cat, she break the great taboo. She used an ancient ritual to bring her little friend alive again. But something failed, someone will say not, she not only brought Anubi back from the realm of the dead, but also the soul of a great and powerful sorcerer from the end of the time with it. Surprisingly he  will teach Runa, how to use her powesr and how to fight the evil. Her  previous mentor, however, reveal himself as a really bad and powerful mage who want his  body back.  Thanks to Clayton, a really messy and goofy boy, and a ritual gone wrong, he's now linked to a Skull and a Mask until someone free him finding his skull. Something happened between her mentor and Anubi. And she will find what is it.
