ANIMAL KINGDOM IN BELARUS
This year, two girls full of initiative, created their own project. They demonstrated how in a small country in Eastern Europe, young creative individuals see the world of fashion and seek to convey their distinctive vision to the end user while destroying the stereotypes.
To support the project a designer Anne Zabelina and a photographer Masha Svyatogor created a fashion team composed of a stylist Yana Bodyak, a muse Asya and a makeup artist Kristina Belyakova.
The collection named "Unprecedented Beast Come to Me” determined the choice of the location. Without even knowing it, an 86 year old street artist Anatoly became our set designer. He created a real art object: an Animal Kingdom, in one of the capital's courtyards. And we managed to sneak in in a literal sense. We did not have to invent anything, just go to a fabulous courtyard and take the shot!
Thus, fantasy and ironic clothing, set the mood of our history. The created image underlined a mix of a natural model’s behaviour and an organic environment. Let’s not be afraid to express ourselves, to be self-ironic, but rather love and to enjoy the youth!
