“No pants required”
Yelahanka is a scary place to live in for a woman. I don’t feel safe anywhere, whether it is the park, the bus stop, the road, or even my own home. Every time I step out I walk very quickly even if I have to go two doors down to my friends house, or go to the local shop to buy eggs. Wearing pants doesn’t help because in the span of those two minutes you will get cat called. Hence, no pants required.
I have stitched “No pants required” on a photograph of a pair of legs, to show how scarred we are left every time we are sexually harassed, and I have put these up in different places around Yelahanka.
