Event to Raise Awareness for Hillsborough's Homeless
The objective of this project was to create an event that raised an awareness of homelessness within my community and do so by using collaborative efforts and participation throughout the event.
This particular project turned into more than just a project for graduate school. I find myself immersed into every facet of this issue and into putting those details into this event to raise awareness. Furthermore, I collaborated with the Hillsborough Homeless Coalition to raise awareness in my community about Hillsborough homeless. The concept of the event was inspired by the Buddhist 8-fold path philosophy.
Posters were printed free by a local Tampa printer. I personally printed and produced door hangers, flyers, and various other promotional materials for the event. A video was also created to promote the event as well as document the event evening.
