O'Porto abandoned houses. Despite the giant increase in tourism, especially in O'Porto, there are several abandoned houses and people without accommodation. There are many people without homes, and many houses without people. My intention was to symbolize the number of abandoned houses, through a large number of similar photos of that doors. I made 20 postcards, with the photograph in front, and behind the address of the doors. My purpose with this work, is to some extent create an "anti-postcard" or 20, in this case. The photos work in series, as they all have the same framing, light, and similar editing. Since postcards are usually an object with a major meaning of "beautifying" or capturing the most iconic places in the city, to be something to remember mainly for tourists, I decided to use this format with a somewhat "ironic" look to get the attention of An increasing and ignored problem. Show the abandoned, ruined, "ugly" area of O'​​Porto, in the same way they use to showcase the city's best-known sites.
